There are 3 different models I am looking at right now. They are from Fujifilm, Olympus and Samsung. The models are Fujifilm X-T1, Olympus OM-D E-M1 and the Samsung NX-1, if I could afford all of them I would buy them. Unfortunately that is not the case and the other is that these models are not available in my area. Since I move to Peru, only certain models are available to the public, not only that, but any electronic device you are going to spend another $100 to $1000 or more on top of the price of a piece of equipment that you can get in the US. But this really depends on what the equipment is that you are buying. So, you can only get what is available at the time. Also, older equipment here does not become cheaper as time progresses, like it is everywhere else. Here they might sell that item for still higher than the actual price that it is in the US at the time of release for that item. The Fujifilm X-T1 not available in Peru, the Samsung NX-1 not listing for this as of today.
So I have been looking at the Olympus OM-D E-M5, was released in 2012, was announced in Feb 8, 2012. Now they have that listed for a certain price but as to the actual cost I wont find out until I hit the store and buy it.
